18th Annual Cowan Charity Classic
Established in 2002, The Cowan Charity Classic is an annual golf tournament that has raised over $1.3 million in support of Canadian communities. Each year the generous support of sponsoring organizations, business partners, and tournament participants combined with a matching donation from the Cowan Foundation enables the Cowan Insurance Group to make a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work.
The charity of choice for this year's tournament is Children’s Mental Health Ontario.

Charity of Choice: Children’s Mental Health Ontario
Children's Mental Health Ontario (CMHO) is the association representing Ontario’s publicly-funded Child and Youth Mental Health Centres. With the combined strength of our members, we advocate for government investments, policies and programs that are responsive to the needs of children, youth and families seeking mental health services in Ontario.
Our primary goal is to promote a coordinated and high quality system of care that puts children, youth and families first.
CMHO’s nearly 100 member organizations operate in every region of the province, providing treatment and support to children, youth and families. This includes targeted prevention, early intervention, short- and long-term counselling and therapy, addictions services, and intensive services such as residential care.
CMHO is governed by a Board of Directors composed of volunteers. The Directors are eligible to serve a maximum of two 3-year terms on the Board. There are currently 15 Directors on the CMHO Board.
